Tekton Design Lore

In case you're in the market for a pair of fairly efficient, easy to drive modern speakers with a full sound for $1000, I can strongly recommend the Tekton Lores. They do so much right that they feel like a steal at their price. They have the wonderful midrange and coherence of a full range single driver but with the high end sparkle and air of the added tweeter. The bass is to die for, extending to the low 30's with great output it is so tight, fast and detailed with good weight, no sloppy, slow, tubby bass here. Even with the mighty 3 watts of my GetSetGo there were times I had to see if my subwoofer was on. They are easy to place and they can throw a large 3d soundstage with good depth and space. They really excel at dynamics and timbre. They are a very "live" sounding speaker. They don't have quite the dynamics that my Klipsch La Scala's had, but they beat the hell out of them in bass extension and detail, coherency, soundstage, air, all that jazz. These are truly exceptional speakers for any genre of music and sound much better than the low price tag would suggest.

I had them shipped. Shipping adds $100 and it took them about a week to get to me by ground, I'm in Connecticut. Tekton is in Utah.

I just got a pair of these and I am well pleased. I replaced a pair of Dayton MTMs from Parts Express with the Lores and these are far better. Fast, dynamic, like real music.
Hard to beat for a grand plus shipping.

I've had my Tekton Lore 2s for for about a yr.
they are the best spkrs I've owned. Better than JBL Olympus S8R, Klipsch Forte'.
Very hi eff.is a plus. For a simple 2way 10" system they are fantastic at $1k.
Deep powerful bass. Highly recommended.
The break-in period was fun. They just kept getting better and better but wrer fantastic out of the box.

"200 Watts power handeling"

Should be handling.

And while "Transducer" isn't spelled incorrect, it's used in the incorrect context.
(correct HiFi term in a 2-way is "Driver" or "Woofer". Transducer would be more correct if it was a fullrange, but still not proper western English when referring to audio speakers)

Both mistakes are common for someone who has English as their second language.

I don't think Mormons have their own language, but then you never know about Mormons. *)
He is really excited about his patent, and it does make sense that a speaker with lower mass would work better. The Bose 901 lowered the mass of the woofer by having lots of them. I bet his sounds much better.
