Ok I got a stupid question and am scratching my head too much.
I have a trafomatic toroid power supply, I have the wires set for 220v. wire 1 is live 2&3 together and 4 is my neutral. There is a ground as well.
So into the instructions for wiring the power supply to the board:
AEC plug live wire to fuse then fuse to switch, ground to ground. Neutral on AEC socket to J1-9
SW1:
Connect pin 1 to the fuse,
pin 2 to the primary (line 1) and pin 3 to
J1-10, as the neon bulb is in
parallel to the primary winding
And from the plug wire neutral direct to j1 9. When I followed the above I am left holding wire 4 which is not connected to anything? suggestions? Where should it be connected?
I admit I am tired and not feeling well, so not thinking straight. I spent 2 hours yesterday convinced I had the wrong output transformers...No electricity is active, just wiring.
So, with all of the above in mind, how do i wire the power transformer to the PCB board. I am using REV D. Right now I am just concerned w/ the AC power, I'm sure as the plague progresses and the drugs increase I gong to ask where the green fairie gets plugged in.
