Hi,
I just picked this up at a garage sale. Appears to be physically OK.It is a linear tracking device. No manual. Any comments ??
Thanks, Vince

In general, Fisher components made after around 1980 were not of high quality (Fisher got bought by Sanyo). Linear tracking turntables had to have exceptionally good bearings and sensitive servo systems in order to work properly. Needless to say, most of the inexpensive ones didn't.

If it has a regular line cord, go ahead and fire it up. If, however, it has a 2 pin DIN plug (blade and round pin), the TT was part of a system that supplied 12VDC to it. This means you'll either have to find the Master component, or build a power supply for it.
