Very cool! :))

I thought we had a section here on that mag? (???)

I remember the first issue of my subscription.... December 1979.

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.

Yeah, I yanked my measly attempt to archive what I had once this site came up:
http://www.americanradiohistory.com/index.htm

The amount of magazine backups he has is amazing. And it's all text searchable. Download to your tablet and you have a never ending reading supply.

It's interesting to see 2A3s, 6A3s, 6B4Gs and 45s, all priced under $1 in some of the ads in the May 1949 edition. $) (love)

And Heath had 6V6 PP OPTs, three for $1.95 - granted, they were not "audiophile" quality, but they would have been good for experimentation and general usage.

A quick calc puts the 2A3 on par with today. but the 45's.... man, 20/20 hindsight!
