STOP! I'm a moron. :|

I did some more wire dress and re-routing with no results or change in the hum. In testing I noticed that the hum increased a little when I turned up the volume (which is located between the first two triodes of the input tube) so on a whim I pulled the first tube.... silence. Sweet blissful silence.... "twitch" "twitch"

So, a little shotgunning should produce the culprit and this bad boy will be ready to rock.

Thanks so much for your help on the imaginary issues though. I learned a lot of very good stuff that I would never have learned about otherwise.

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.
