Postby Gabriel » Thu Nov 08, 2012 1:43 pm

Hi all.

I need to build a 1-5 w tube (preferably) guitar amp.
I'm a beginner on this, and i want to know what design i can start studying...

Anyone knows a proyect (with pcb layout, schem, etc) that i can download?

Any help i would appreciate.

Gabriel.

Hi,

Either the 5F1 or 5E1 Fender Champ would be ideal.

I know a guy here who even has turret boards for them :$ :))

But I have seen complete kits out there from other, which might be better for you (sorry, can't remember the URL off hand)

Cheers!

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.

This is the simplest way to go - a Ted Weber Kit.

Have a look here.

http://www.ampmaker.com/store/

Loads of info and build instructions. I built his Se-5 from the info and added a tone stack defeat switch. He was closed for selling kits at the time so I built it from parts sourced elsewhere. Quite similar to the AX-84 but pictures of turret board, testing procedure etc..

Really good guy!
