Tube rectifier voltage drop

On a typical guitar amp, with a center tap on the HV secondary, how do you measure the voltage drop of the rectifier.? On the schematic below for instance. Just for the sake of using round numbers, assume the PT secondary is 300 - 0 - 300. Would I just assume the rectified voltage would be 300 x 1.4, and anything less than that would be the voltage drop of the tube.? How do I know what the rectified voltage is before it is across the rectifier tube.?
Hope I am making this clear, I cannot think of a better way to ask....
Thank You

Hi,

Depends on the rectifier used. Some have a bigger drop than others.

The tube datasheets will give a 1/2 and full load drop. That needs to be taken into account as well as any choke DCR, if one is used.

There's a nice voltage sag graph over here:

Cheers!
