Hi guitar folks,
I have the chance to get my mitts on some 18W guitar (steel) chassis and I'm confronted with a dilemma - the powder coat colour?
Mid gray is practical, but extremely boring!
What would be a popular colour?
Cheers!

I wish.
I'm stuck with single colour/flat textures here :-\
Cheers!

Basic Black is always good for this application. Much more "universal" than any bright fire-engine reds, fluorescent tangerines or kelley greens, as not everybody has the same taste for "flamboyant" color schemes.
Of course, chrome plating is always nice, but at a significantly higher cost...

Black is always good, but consider a rich chocolate brown - something a little different, but still works well with most of the common amp covering colours (black, blonde, tweed, green, orange, brown(!)... pink(!!)...)

Thanks All!
The deep chocolate brown we haven't seen since Fender. That sounds like a contender :-)
Cheers!

you gotta consider the rest of the amp, ie head cabinet...tolex? natural wood? other? i took a few art/design clases in college and ever since i have noticed a bad color usage...
