wine crates

collected a few over the years. i was bummed to find out my local source no longer gives them away or sells them. waah. it is actually kinda nice wood, some weird euro pine i guess, but quite hard and decorative, considering it is basically throwaway.
this is the one i was going to light up on the inside with LEDs...
wouldn't want to drop this one, not too sturdy. but then again, i'm not exactly a member of the Who or anything
haven't decided what to do with the face. i bought some alphanumeric punches but theres no way i could really mark this stuff with them, i tried on scrap. :/

That is awesome! I had dreams of building a guitar out of skid flat wood, but man, you just took it to the next level. That looks amazing!

Make it a short wave radio, so the sail can be little woken wires. Pretty!

Leave the face alone....the hand written labels and clean look add way more character to the amp.

What kind of tones are you getting out of this? Fender cleans or Marshall Crunch or a combination?

Why do you have the power and standby switches sticking out so far? Is there no room to recess them properly?

I love it, I'm always on the lookout for something to make an amp out of. Reminds me of this:

i said it once but it was deleted: your amps are an inspiration. i always prefer the unconventional approach to things that are supposed to be fun....like guitar amps
