These amps (unfortunately) were solid state - the heat from tubes would have most likely cooked all that fancy upholstery.
The "Kustom Kat" who was apparently related to the "Nauga" as in Naugayyde. Named after Naugatuck, Connecticut.
In later years, Kustom went away from the overstuffed sofa look, to a more conventional plain, flat Tolex covering.
Kustom also produced police speed radar guns. Talk about a "diversified" product line...
