Don,

I want your cabinet making secrets.

What timber, stain, finish?

Why? - so I can rip it off, naturally.

Thanks,
Ian

Uh, well, uh... The wood is Baltic Birch, the stain is something my cabinet maker had left over from another project and the finish is some sort of epoxy. He shares a shop with three other cabinet makers and alot of that stuff is from a pool. I can ask him, but he might not even know.

Don

very nice, eh?

Hey Don, is that a whole new amp or just a new cab for your BFA? Looks really nice by the way.

It is a whole nuther amp. Bass players have been making noise about buying one for a while now but I couldn't sell them the first one due to a business arrangement I have with it. Enter BFA #2, now it's time to cut the BS and hand over the scratch. Probably alot of toe examination and humming and haing and would you take $10 a month for life?

150 watts RMS into an 8 ohm resistor at 1000 Hz. $3500 CDN

Since I built it and put it into service I have changed to KT120 output tubes as the KT88s were not up to the task and would burn out after about a year of service.
