IIRC, Dynaco did offer a small perf-metal "cage" which fit over the ST-70 driver board, with holes for the two 7199s.
That protected the driver boards from curious little fingers, puppy noses and kitty tongues :P ;) (lol)

In our case, the cat is old enough and heavy enough that he does not jump up on high surfaces anymore. I do have some clear Lexan that I may use to make a cover for that board with appropriate holes cut for the tubes and sockets. That way I can still easily see the components. For the most part our cat loves to spend his time in my lap at every available opportunity. Our grand children are old enough to know better and so it is not a real issue for our family.

I have seen a few of those perforated or expanded metal covers, but after I modified the circuit board with larger capacitors, some of them stand up too high to permit the use of the cover mentioned.
