Looking at the RCA tube manual, I noticed a couple of differences between the 7199 and the 6GH8. The transconductances are significantly different. Also, for the 7199 (which is intended for a hi-fi audio amp), the specs include hum and noise - while no hum or noise specs appear for the 6GH8 (which is intended for television deflection circuit and sync applications). I'm wondering if these differences are of concern when using a 6GH8 with a pin-out adapter in an unmodified ST-70 driver board intended for 7199s?
