st-70 and sca-35 together?

Newbie here....wondering if you can run a sca-35 as a pre-amp/drive a center channel speaker, and use a st-70 to drive the main speakers? Looked at the back of a sca-35 but did not see output plugs for an external amp.
Anyone ever done this? If so, how did it work?
