Hello,

I have four A25 speakers I want to hook up to my ST-70. Somewhere on here I read how to do that but for the life of me, I can't seem to find the post - this after searching and ready many, many posts.

Anyone have an idea of the best way to go about this?

Thanks!

If the speakers are 8 ohms and you use two per side, wiring them in parrallel will yield a 4 ohm load, so use the 4 ohm tap. If you wire them in series they yield a 16 ohm load, so use the 16 ohm tap.

The link below explains series and parallel wiring.

http://www.termpro.com/articles/spkrz.html

series = Connect the positive of one speaker to the negative of the other speaker. Connecting in series yields a total impedance of (A + B). With the A25s, it is 16ohms.

parallel = Connect the positive of one speaker to the positive of the other and connect the negative of one to the negative of the other. Connecting in parallel yields an impedance of (A x B / A + B). With the A25s, it is 4ohms.
