ST-70 with modern hybrid preamp?

Hi all
I got a good deal on a Marsh P2000T tube-hybrid preamp, I havent received it yet. For the most part, online reviews have been very favorable for this unit. It does seen like it has almost always been paired with a newer SS or tube hybrid amp. Has anyone tried one of these on vintage tube gear, Dynaco ST-70 in particular? My Dynaco is not overly modded, just a little extra power capacitance and new, modern caps and resistors. EH driver tubes. I was hoping this might provide a little better clarity than using a vintage tube pre as a PAS. However, I got to second guessing my decision after thinking the impedence might not match well between the two?
I'd appreciate other's thoughts on this.
