I thought I should say hi to the group and I wanted to share a Pic of my first tube amp. I Should have put a date in the chassis, but I think is about 5 years old. It is a homebrewed ST70, well sortof. It has Hammond 30w output iron, and a PT, from a 1940's philco tv, that my Dad used in his first stereo 6L6gc amp. in the early 60's (I wonder if late model iron will last this long [hope I didn't give it the kiss of death]). The amp also has an ef86 based board from triode, and a home brewed cap board with 50,200,68,68uf. Currently it has SS rect. and just a tic under 500v B+. I think it sounds great.
