Want to trade boards for Russian 6B4Gs (6C4C/6S4S)

Want to trade boards for some 6C4C/6S4S. Basically trade any diytube board, except for Ikes.

Sorry for any confusion, Mark. I meant Russian 6B4G types.

I have some of the 1950s vintage twin-plates, maybe also some monoplates, I'll have to check on those...

Alaso two unused monoplate Sovtek 6A3s (same as 6B4Gs, but with a 4 pin UX type 4D base).

I can always use more Clementine boards, have lots of ideas to try out with them [:)

Cool, Ed. See what your 6C4C stash looks like - I'm not picky. I presume your Sovtek 6A3s will be just like my Sovtek 6B4Gs, just re-based. Meanwhile I can get the 25E5s tested and shipped to you, too. I wonder if anyone ever triodes the EL36 type tubes.

I'll check the 6C4C stash, I can definitely send you two, and probably four of them. These would be the 50s vintage twin plate Svet's.

EL36 is "somewhat" similar to 6BQ6GTB/6CU6, which is, in turn, very similar to 6AV5GA in operating characteristics. It should work in triode strapped mode , probably good for 3WPC with 3K and 300V P-K - just a SWAG :/ [:) :)) IIRC, the 6BQ6 and EL36 are "pin compatible" with the Clem boards, just run the plate cap lead back to the Pin 3 (plat) pad on V2 and V3.

I have 2 of the 6C4Cs boxed up and ready to mail out, along with four 6N2Ps (similar to 12AX7 but with 6V filament and 6DJ8 pinout). Op chars are closer to 6SF5 triodes than 12AX7, and mu is 100, but the actual rp and gm difference is trivial [:)

I thought I had a lot more of these tubes, maybe I sold / traded a few of them a few years ago (???) :$

A pair is all I need, Ed. It will give me an idea of how true they are. I'll PM you.
