Klipsch Chorus speakers - Pair

Postby SteveH » Tue Jan 17, 2012 2:56 pm

All,
I am putting my Chorus speakers up for sale, as I've found some replacements. They'are in good cosmetic condition, and perfect functional condition. Xovers were redone about 3 years ago, and all the origional drivers are in mint shape.
Obviously - no shipping. Pick-up in Northern Del.

I bought some Klipsch Chorus IIs early on in my tube adventure. These will make someone very happy. They are sooooo SET friendly.

How much are you asking for the speakers if they are still available?

If you got them... you're going to love them!
"It's a different experience; the noise occlusion, crisp, clear sound, and defined powerful bass. Strong bass does not corrupt the higher frequencies, giving a very different overall feel of the sound, one that is, in my opinion, quite unique."

A woman from B'More picked them up yesterday....a gift for her husband's bday (that's a good wife !).
That said, to be honest I was never really crazy about them....I think the horns were just a little too harsh for my liking.

Some people just don't care so much for horns. Honestly, they seemed to suit me just fine. Also, mine are Chorus II which have the Tractrix horns on them. Maybe they sound different than the exponential horns on the first generation? Dunno.

Perhaps...I have read that the mk II versions were a vast improvement.

Are you looking for a pair, Sal? Send me a PM... I could be talked into selling mine, if you wanted them.
