FS: Pilot SA-232 Tube Power Amp

Up for sale is a very nice sounding and looking Pilot SA-232 "Curtain Of Sound" tube power amp.

I recapped this amp with Sprauge Atom cap in the PS and Sprauge Orange Drops thoughout the rest of the amp. The amp sounds incredible. The only reason I am even considering selling is I have to many EL84/6BQ5 based amps at this time.

The amp runs a quad of EL84/6BQ5/7189 power tubes, a 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier, two 12AX7's and a 12AU7. I needed the tubes for another project so this amp is being sold without tubes. I had a quad of 7189's in it. I may be able to find tubes for the amp but it will raise the price significantly depending on what tubes I can find.

I am asking $500 plus shipping on this fine amp. If you've been looking for the magical sound of an EL84 based amp then don't let this one pass ya by.

Ok....I've found a brand new quad of matched Russian EL84's and a couple 12AX7's and a 12AU7 that can be negotiated if the buyer needs tubes.

No spare GZ34 though.
