Looking for / WTB Dynaco ST-70 chassis

Postby EWBrown » Thu Sep 02, 2004 6:36 am

Looking for / WTB: a Dynaco ST-70 carcass / chassis, for another "monster amp" project. I don't really need the transformers, board, etc, just the chassis, even if it's rusty, crusty, musty and dusty. Bottom plate and cagge would be nice, but not really necessary.

This guy sells replated ST70 chassis on eBay. I know someone that bought one of his overpriced ST70 kits a while back. Good kit, good service, just priced a bit high IMO.

I like this chassis, but the bidding is getting out of hand.

Thanks for the heads-up, I just sent in for one of them. This will be for a 6AR6/6384 "frankenamp" project I've been mulling around for quite a while.
6AR6 / 6384 is like a 5881 on military grade steroids

For some reason this post appeared twice, so I eliminated it's "twin"...

The dynaco chassis arrived, it is even better than originally described. just what "the doctor" ordered for my next project :D
