FS - new DIY ST35 amp with rectifier tube - NICE!

Postby tubes4hifi » Sun Apr 25, 2004 3:13 am

I'll skip all the sales talk, the photos should speak for themselves.
Hopefully someone else will agree this is a steal for $450.
revC PCB with 5AR4 rectifier tube and BIG Hammond 272HX power.
33uF connected to the rectifier so it doesn't burn out, then another 360uF.
12" x 10" x 2" chassis, black powder painted steel.
Transformers are painted a matte "hunter green".
It'll go onto Ebay a week from now if nobody snatches it up here first!

transformers & chassis for sale

Postby tubes4hifi » Tue Jul 13, 2004 7:37 pm

I never got around to selling this amp, I sold the PCB out of it, so I'm left with the Hammond outputs and power transformer sitting on a nice 10" x 12" chassis. I'll take $175 which was my cost, below retail.

Postby tubes4hifi » Wed Jul 14, 2004 5:55 pm

now don't forget guys & gals, I can get you any Hammond stuff for cheap, for example the 3 trannies for the DIY ST35 for $149 plus $16 shipping, and your choice of chassis, the 8x10 chassis & bottom plate for $22 (with a transformer order only).
