SE KT88 OPT Opinions
Posted: Thu Jan 14, 2016 7:41 pmPlanning to build a few SE KT88 amplifiers for myself and a few friends. I'll need 5k primary & 8 ohm secondaries w/ 43% screen tap.
I've been eyeing the James JS-6123H OPTs but am considering other options. I want something fairly decent quality wise.
I've been using edcor in recent builds but wanted to try something different. The edcors seem to be pretty big and I always end up having to get the end bells powder coated...
Anyone got any real world experience they could share with OPTs they used in SE KT88 builds?
