WE-320A Border Blaster Tubes

Postby EWBrown » Thu Dec 31, 2015 8:12 pm

Back in the day.... when a few US stations would locate the studios on US soil, but locate the transmitters,
south of the border, in Mexico, which did not have the 50KW restrictions.

In the case of radio station XERA, the studios were in Del Rio, Texas, and the Transmitter in Ciduad Acuna, just across the Rio Grande.

Western Electric 320A: Eight were used in the XERA transmitter

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.
