A while back, we discussed these (can't find the thread, ATM) as a possible try for tube amp filtration:

Has anyone tried them? How reliable are they in actual high-temp use over the test of time?

Cheers!

I ended up buying the Vishay , from mouser , 6 months in use and going good , not too long in the scheme of things . Plan on fitting some under a HK Citation II , was hoping to find someone to do a circuit board to make mounting them easier .

You can mount them using eyelets.

Thanks guys.

I have been asked by customers to create "electrolytic free" builds and they're willing to pay a premium for that. However, the typical motor run caps are substantially larger than these EZPE and kind of hard to do when four motor run caps are larger than the entire chassis.

Cheers!
