Thanks. I'm not sure if my M.Jones is the 4th edition. I'll take a look. It will be used as an instrument amp.

If you do the treble and bass controls, it's best to use a separate tube for bass and treble. You need about 150 times gain for both to get a lot of adjustment. Both sides of a 6SN7 would work better, but something like a 6BQ7/6N1P would be best.
