The boxes of those 2C52s make me wonder. Are the gov't issue JAN tubes?

These NOS JAN look awesome, Ed. Nice score! Thermion and I use these in our Darlings. He made me swear not to say anything, but I guess the cat's out of the bag. 
They had been going for $40 to $50 a pair on eBay, BIN-wise. I think I got a pair last year for $15 shipped from FleaBay.

This lot of ten 2C52s cost $50, including shipping. Lucky BIN find on the e-place... 
I checked them, using 12SL7 setting, but substituted 12AX7 values.
These should be a "drop-in" replacement, much like tube rolling between 5751 and 12AX7 / ECC83s

Same person sold three other boxes of ten, at the same price, I got the last one.
FWIW, I had purchased tubes from him in the past, he had a flea market / junk shop storefront located about 20 miles from where I lived in NH.
Close enough to let me get an in-person look at his occasional tubular offerings.
