Neat looking tubes, like a cross between a fat 6SN7 and an 807. NOS 807Ws are readily available. Is the "W" a ruggederized version of the 807? The specs appear identical.

The entry on nj7p lists the Pd as 30W, rather than 25W.

I remember vintage transmitters replaced with a "hotter" tube and rebiased.... then the next owner would drop in the spec'd tube and it would melt
