Tube Suggestions for my OPTs

Hi, I have a new pair of nice Electra-Print 10K:8ohms 50mA SE OPTs that I want to put to use. I was thinking about the 801A or the VT-25/10Y but they are rather pricey. Any suggestions for tubes that would be a good fit for my OPTs in a SE amp? I would prefer if they were DHT. Thanks! Min

I think, use 6F6 or Russian /6F6S or P, I forgot/ with Ra about 7 kohm and plate current 45-50 ma, but it is not DHT, but with cool sound...I had that SE and I was happy....

Their not DHT's but parallel 6S4a Triodes into 10K would bring you somewhere around 2.5Watts of really clean sound. 350D B+ with a 390ohm cathode resistor would be about 25ma per tube. Plus their really low cost. I used the Clementine 6SL7 front end with mine and it worked well.

I have a similar amp planned for some of those tubes I've collected. Not DHT. I'll go UL with it.
