DIY Poseidon Board + PSU

Hi!

What do you think about my experimental layout for the poseidon board?

Note in the PSU that the bias supply is fed directly by one of the 400V secondaries since my power transformer does not have the -60V tap. The "hole" is a 10k bias-pot like this:

I have finished the first experimental version and it sounds loud and solid on my DIY Fostex 206En BLH.

I have started with the wood work and sent a pair of aluminum plates to be CNC'd and anodized. The final product should look like the renderings below.

Layout and design looks great, Rodrigo. Can't wait to see the finished amps. Fostex speakers with 60W = (y)

Good point about the Speakers!

Now they are connected to a 15W DIY p-p amp and sound great!

(as mentioned in another post) I've compensated their low frequency roll-off using differential negative feedback (i.e. almost no feedback below 500Hz as used for instance in the Leben CS-300X). That is one of the good things about using high efficiency speakers. However, these MkIII are to be used with a pair B&W 684 (see pic below).

What do you think about replacing the 6SL7 with a 6SN7 to lower the sensitivity and increase linearity?

I like the 6SL7 better for voltage gain. I wish I had more of them!
