Metasonix thyratron synth; op amp pin out?

Postby Proschuno » Sat Jun 01, 2013 4:27 pm

So I have all the necessary materials to breadboard this, but what is stumping me is the connections it has going into the opamp; pinouts nor a real diagram is given for here, so I'm wanting to know if anyone with a magical crystal ball can decode this... jk, I know this sounds awkward, but I wonder how this achieves a volts/octave response?

The biggest disadvantage of tubes is that they are more linear than transistors ...

The only stuff I see that could give a log/exp-curve are the diodes hooked up to V2 and V3. My guess. (???)

I see..... I emailed metasomix and they said it was a 741. Of and btw those are capacitors not diodes, I know that confused me too at first lol.
