Using a CT transformer for dual positive rails?

Can this be done, but with both rails being positive? Lets say, a 20VCT transformer with two positive 14V rails?

Thanks!

I'm sure you can if it is full wave, but it will act like 2 half waves, and regulation will be poor. It sounds like, if you can use 2 bridges instead of halfs it should work great. But I really don't think (like 99.9999999%) that you can have 2 grounds on a transformer. You can have 2 - 14 volt supplies, but the top one will be 14 volts above the bottom's voltage. You'll basically have a 28 volt supply with a center tap.
At first I wanted to be a ET. Now I are one.

Use two bridge rectifiers , and isolate the center tap of the transformer .

Yes. That's what I'm talking about Mark.

Isolate the center tap and ground the negative side of each bridge for ground reference.

I suppose I could also just use a full wave and split it after rectification into two regulators also.

Thanks!
