5u4 in the RH-84 circuit

well thanks for all the ideas/commentary/advice. i think i'm just going to round up a 5v filament tranny on ebay. seems to be a few of them. i already have 5u4s, and i was pretty set on my PT(which only has a 6.3v winding, which i also need for the other tubes).

....got my very cool looking vintage UTC 5v transformers in the mail today.....so the rectifier world is my oyster, so to speak. its on!
