How much transmitter power can I squeeze from a pair of 4CX35? What could the range of such a transmitter be? Purely an academic exercise, of course. I don't actually own said tubes.
"It's a different experience; the noise occlusion, crisp, clear sound, and defined powerful bass. Strong bass does not corrupt the higher frequencies, giving a very different overall feel of the sound, one that is, in my opinion, quite unique."

50k to 70k watts out of a pair (666) http://www.cpii.com/docs/datasheets/75/ ... C-8349.pdf

Half way around the world with the correct antenna and gound system om the broadcast band or short wave band . With the correct atmospheric conditions .

You mean 50 to 70 kilowatts.

With almost 3Kwatts of filament, that one would need some serious wind to cool.
At first I wanted to be a ET. Now I are one.

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.
