What is the purpose diode 1N4007 in this connection?
Is the schematic for preamp is doing well or needs to change something?
If you can please offer a quality schematics to power supply for this pre-amplifier.

Supposed to keep the grid from going positive if one section heats faster.

Trademarks of the triode ECC88 associated with such a diode is a buffer or I'm wrong?!

Hi all!
What can I change the schematic (to improve characteristics) to use this pre-amp for my CD-player Technics.
Rolling second harmonic at a maximum output of about 2V is <0.5%!
If you have the better of this schematics with pre-amp or line-stage a line-up here.
