Tape loops?

Anyone ever add one to their preamp?

It looks like you just loop from the input selector back to a "looped" second output. Is this correct?

That way you can play a device and record at the same time?

Anyone got a schematic with one?

I think that's what I will do, but instead of switching the tape in, I will make the tape input one of the regular sources on the selector knob.
