That is a nifty little design. Hagerman's website is a great place to peruse PDFs regarding RIAA EQs and his designs. Let us know what you think of it and what type of battery life you get. If you leave it on, you are screwed, right?

Will do Shannon. Hit a snag last night and installed the on/off switch backwards. Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_14 When I desoldered, the pcb started going with it. Ugh. Fortunately, the contacts are still available to solder on one side. Other than that, it appears to be done with relative ease. Yeah right. We'll see how many of those dull silver joints are cold come tomorrow eve. Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_21

Another basic question:

Is the lined side of this cap negative?

The end with the rubber seal is positive ... the negative end is solid aluminum.
