Sad to say goodbye to Tom. He has joined Ed Brown and Eric Hayes as VIPs who have left us.

Tom was one of the key folks that helped make these forums - as both a contributor and moderator - as well as diytube projects, a success. His prolific tube amp building skills may never be paralleled. And his words of encouragement still drive me every single day. He will be missed.

Sad to learn of his passing. R.I.P. Tom. He was really fond of those Hammond transformers.

Oh no!!

I wanted to look up an amplifier that Tom built and I couldn't find his website. So naturally, I came here to see what was up since I know that Tom still posted here. So in searching for a recent post from him, I came across this saddening news!

Such a great loss to the DIY tube community.

RIP Tom!
