Does anyone know of a good schematic program for Linux? I don't need anything fancy. Just needs to have a decent symbol library that includes, obviously, vacuum tubes. Thanks for any help.

I've always used GIMP.

Even now, stuck on Windows, I installed GTK and GIMP

Eagle from Cadsoft works great on Linux. The free version has some restrictions, but
for most hobby purposes, it works just fine

Why not make your own set of schematic symbols using Inkscape?
I did this. In the attachment there is an example.
