Hello

Just thought some members may be interested that I have managed to replicate the PCB for this mono block amp .. I did contact velleman and they where OK with what I was doing as they stopped making the kit years ago. I have managed after many hours to make a full gerber file list so I can now make the PCB. The new PCB's have 2 oz copper and the tracks do not lift like the original ones so great for modding.

Question for the moderators could this thread be moved to the amplifier section, this way we can have a dedicated mod and discussion thread for this amplifier ?

That's quite an ambitious project, looks good. I have a Velleman K-4000 I built around this time in 1997. It was probably the first one in the United States, as I waited a short time until they came out with a 120 volt version. Still annoys the neighbors. Four EL-34's per channel in PPP.





The amplifier forums are devoted to products of diytube, but you're welcome to post in the general area.

Hope the amp sounds as good as it looks !
