I'm not trying to steer this off topic, but I would like to find a decent Tek 468 scope. And by decent, I mean something that is not on the favorite auction site with 'powers on but no further tested done' as the description. There was a nice one for sale in Arizona, but the guy was not interested in shipping. If anyone has info, let me know...

I like the 465, 466, 468 and 475 series. The 22xx are nice as well. Not a big fan of the 24xx series.

I got strung along and flaked out on the scope so I'm back to looking. Sigh.

It happens.

Good luck!

Over in the classified section of diyaudio, someone is selling at 2235 Tektronix oscilloscope. You may want to take a quick look...

I would be afraid of it not showing the detail you need .

Here's another

What else should I look for besides a picture displaying a line or two through the display?

Not necessarily, he stated something was wrong BECAUSE it had "2 lines" on the screen. You have to take
each one separately. They are complex weird animals, but sometimes that is in your favor. (666)

i finally got a scope. I took a chance on a Tektronix 2225 for $50 locally. I get a line through the screen but I have to figure out how to test it further. If anyone has any hints please let me know.

Anyway, It will be fun to learn how to use it and maybe finally figure out my Citation's hum.
