Events: RMAF 2014 & Hamvention 2014

Anyone planning to go to Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (http://audiofest.net/new/) this year? I think Thermion & I will drive out for it. Would love to meet up with anyone. If you've been before, I'd love to hear anything you've got to say about it.

Same goes for the Dayton Hamvention 2014 (http://www.hamvention.org/). I've meant to go for years, but finally plan to go on the Friday or Saturday sessions. I know Ed Long was a regular for years.

Would have loved to go to the hamvention. Been too long since I played with vacuum variable caps :))

Shannon,

I'm still a regular and I'm going again this year. This will be year #40 for me. I started going in 1974 when I worked for Ford Motor Co.

I'll be at FDIM (QRP ARCI club) meeting on Thursday at the Holiday Inn in Fairborn and then the Hamvention the rest of the weekend. Can't wait to get there!

Would love to go to the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, but right now I don't have plans for that.

Cool, Ed! Definitely will want to meet up with you. Maybe we can have breakfast on Saturday morning?

Shannon,

Heading to Dayton on Wednesday of this week for the FDIM meeting on Thursday put on by QRP ARCI (QRP - low power: ARCI - Amateur Radio Club International). Then Hamvention on Friday and Saturday. Will be staying in Fairborn east of Dayton at the hotel where the QRP ARCI meeting is held.

I'll send a PM with my cell phone number.

See you there.

Yep - early riser. I got your message and will text you when there. If not for breakfast we could meet in the arena when it's time to take a break from all the walking around.
