Analog is Real! Experience it!
Digital leads to trans humanism. Not good.

Cool. Nice looking, gold transformers on a black chassis.

Does the JJ ECC 802S really sound good? Most of the JJ driver tubes (their 12au7 especially) I've used do not make the grade.

Yes, they really do sound good. This was specially engineered for audio and have long plates and gold plated pins. I used them in my poseidons as well.
A far cry better than the JJ 12AU7. EH 12BH7 has great bass but poor treble.

The chassis was sprayed with Rust O leum textured metallic with bright copper flakes. Hard to see in pics.

I generally use RCA Clear Tops for my 12au7 needs, but the JJ ECC 802S variant garners a lot of praise. At $25, it's not the 12au7 cheapest solution, but you get what you pay for.
