That looks sweet!!

Who punched the holes for the power tubes? The heat vents look great.

It's a Front Panel Express job. I was going to use some UX4 phenolics from my stash, but their boss was shorter, for a thinner steel chassis, so the tube wouldn't seat all the way in due to the 3mm thickness. I made the hole big enough for the whole base diameter, which necessitated the ceramic wafer style socket and its wider mounting screws. They're pretty nice sockets, too. Hopefully wire it up this weekend. I do plan to put some vented air holes on my bottom plate directly under the 300Bs, fwiw.

I love FPE. I've used them for several projects and it's convenient that they're only a short (20 minute) drive from where I live.

I need to document a few things and edit the schematic, but I finally have it in the "listening" part of the long R&D process. The 3mm worked pretty well. There's a bit of weight there.

Listening to the Doors' "The End" right now, and it sounds excellent. RIP, Ray Manzarek!

Ended up using no feedback - either plate-to-plate or global. The extra gain doesn't seem to be a problem. Zero hummmmm.
