Restoring a vintage Acrosound Stereo 20

No, not the Stereo 20/20, but the rare Stereo 20, er, monoblock. Some old literature on this series of EL84 amps:

I bought this single "20" on Ebay, curious about the DC-coupled circuit and the quality iron. One of my favorite all-time amplifiers, a modified Eico HF-60, uses Acrosound iron too.

Anyway, the one I got had shot tube sockets, aged components, but still managed to work if you made sure the tubes were plugged in correctly. Oddly enough, there is an E-Pay seller who sells exact fit replacement boards for the Acrosound 20/20, which are also the same for the 20. So a quick lead swap job and here we go

The sound through my test speaker is quite pleasant - maybe someday I can find a matching amplifier so for now I'll just have to scour the web.
