Anyone familiar with the Philbrick K2-W and it's suitability for audio?

It's the grandfather of the op-amp.

I remember seeing these in surplus around the late 1960s... No reason it shouldn't work for audio, the 100KC response and 2 uS response should be more than high enough.

FYI, Bob Pease has a good article or two from the last couple years on the history of tube op amps.
