My 2A3 (with James 6123HS irons) on the 'scope

My 2A3 sounded good to my ears, but I wanted to see how it does on a 'scope, so here are some pictures some square waves:

50 Hz (the waves were flickering, so I had a hard time picturing this):

1 KHz:

20 kHz:

I couldn't get anything square after 20 kHz. All in all, James irons seem to have pretty good freq. response. I also found that looking at the 'scope while adjusting hum balance is a good way to do it.

Usually, a 10kHz tells you all you need - having a 20kHz SQ through those 6123HS outputs is pretty impressive. Good job! BTW, what is your signal generator?

Thanks, Shannon. I have a Global Specialties function generator that I bought on eBay for 26 bucks. Worth every penny, I think.
