Stancor A 4206

Postby Robert Cham » Wed Nov 07, 2007 8:42 pm

The label fell off a Stancor A 4206 transformer in my junkbox. No luck on the Web. Could someone enlighten me as to what exactly it is?

Thanks Much! That appears to be a great resource. Anybody interested in it? I have no use for it and am trying to clean out my storage space.

Low cost Phase Splitter

That trannie would be perfect for a quick'n'dirty simple PP guitar amp...
Eliminates the LTPI or cathodyne stage.

Or just use the CT secondary as a grid choke, CT to ground, and parallel feed it (cap coupled) from the driver stages.

HTH

If it was $9.85 in 1955, that would translate to well over $100 in 2007 dollarettes :o

I got this from that site:

"What cost $10.00 in 1955 would cost $72.44 in 2006.
Also, if you were to buy exactly the same products in 2006 and 1955,
they would cost you $10.00 and $1.38 respectively."

What I don't understand is the second sentence. Please explain, I tried to dodge ECON classes in college. Yellow_Light_Colorz_PDT_02

It is just stated in the reverse. That $10 budget CD in 2006 would have cost you $1.38 in 1955 for a Pat Boone LP.

I was there the last week in october. We rode mostly in the rain and some fog, but it still a blast to ride the old two lane roads.

We are driving up tomorrow to winterize the pipes...

I'd bet that Lake Chatuge is WAY down, now.... It was around 6 feet down back in August when I was down there.

I just hope that my well is deep enough...

Western N.C. was not affected as much when I was last there, but I saw on the news that Atlanta is running short on water.
