No batteries or AC line power required, to operate this Russian radio, it was powered by a kerosene lamp with thermocouples.

When visting the pharmacy with my old mother a few weeks ago I noticed that they had run out of snake oil, but still had a generous variety of snake balm (ORMSALVA). I SHOULD have bought one and try rubbing it into my tubes to enhance the mid register.

I rub it on my speaker cables. It gets rid of all of the mid-range blurriness.
