Shielded feedback loop

I'm stuffing the board on my budgie and I have a question about the shielded jumper for the feedback loop. From the photo, It appears that I make some connection to the + and a - terminals at both ends.

Obviously a signal wire runs between the two + terminals. I can imagine three options with regard to the two - terminals:
1) signal wire connected at both - terminals and the shield at only one
2) signal wire and shield connected at both - terminals
3) only the shield that is connected at - terminal with no signal wire?

Is there one thats preferred?

Sean

See Shannon's picture here ... both shield and center conductor connected at each end.

Thanks Tom.

On reviewing my question I realized I forgot to mention that the wire Shannon sent with the Budgie was had two signal wires in addition to a shield. I couldn't be certain from the photo whether Shannon had hooked up the second signal wire in addition to the shield. I'll just ignore the second wire.

You are 100% correct - just use the shield and one wire. I've clipped the unused second wire in that photo.
